Classes & Workshops
If you're looking for a guest speaker, I'm happy to share my knowledge through a presentation or a workshop. I offer classes through Frugal Las Vegas Meetup, or I can tailor a topic and structure for your group. My past presentations include software tutorials like Photoshop, Illustrator, Google apps, and free website building tools. I've also created community classes like "Ditch Your Cable: How to Watch TV for Free", and "Online Marketplace 101: Sell Your Stuff on Craigslist and Ebay". For a more hands-on creative gathering, I've hosted parties where we make jewelry, paper mache props, paper flowers, origami, and recycled gift wrap.
Events & Marketing
Promote your product or service with my contacts -- 6,000+ active locals in Las Vegas. My strongest audiences are business owners, outdoors lovers, and bargain hunters. I have connections to great venues, staff, signage, props, and promotion.
Editorial & Copywriting
My work has been published in newspaper columns and online blogs. I can create cheeky and/or corporate written content for your business or products, reviews, customer correspondence, and press releases.
Jack of all Trades
My first real job was at McDonald's in 1995, where I learned if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. But even without being paid, I've always preferred to stay busy. Whether that's two (or three, or four) jobs at once, or thinking up my own projects, I like to have a variety of things going on. I've been a teacher, karaoke host, janitor, professional organizer, painter, tour guide, macguyver, mercenary, radio DJ, receptionist, bookkeeper, landscaper, toilet fixer, fixadenter, and dent fixer. These days, I mostly dabble in arts and crafts, non-profit administration, blogging, social media, leading hikes, and prop-building.
